Hello. I am new to this site. We have a bumper crop of Bee Balm this year. The Hummingbirds love it. I read the Oswego Indians used it to make tea. I'd like to try it this year. Would it be best to harvest and dry leaves before or after flowers bloom, or does it matter? Thanks. Bertha

BeeBalm is yet another kind of mint so I am guessing you can use the leaves either fresh or dried...it is always best to harvest the leaves before the heat of the day.
