Hi Mary <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> , Do you every sleep ? hehehehehe. Well one good thing about the socks, if you go over to the Spinning site Cara has grasciously listed some excellent step by step lessons on how to knit socks, it's worth a look. If you can't find it Please let me know I will get the url for you.

You know, I'm not a big fan of summer knits. I've made some summer sweaters before, but I'm never that happy with them. I live in the heart of the Midwest, where it will get to 100 degrees and stay there for awhile, so I'll probably put my knitting up at that point. Just too hot to have on my lap. But whatever I have going, it will be in cotton, so it doesn't itch when I'm working on it. I do love to knit on rainy days, though, like yesterday! That was great!

Thanks, I really like the bathing cap, very clever. I love visiting Knitty, there is always something creative on there.
