Hi,

I need to paint and reorganize my home office, and would like to make it Feng Shui friendly. I am hoping I can get some ideas for color.

First, the office is about 10' x 12' with the door to the hallway on the west, in the middle of the 12' wall. Second, there is a door and window to a balcony on the south. My desk point south, my back is to the closet on the north wall.

There is some light coming in, but not too much because of the roof on the balcony. I would like an office that produce a lot of energy. What color should I paint?

Ok, here are my suggestions for your concern: What about painting the office a cream or warm but LIGHT hue of Yellow? Where I work, we recently moved to a new location and ironically the walls were painted a color that was called "Latte" (lol). The color is actually a light, Dijon mustard-ish color but it works!

I always suggest YELLOW for berooms for children because it is a soothing yet, happy color.

I'd suggest you go pick up some paint chip samples of the various hues/shades of yellow and then see how you like them!

Since we are talking Feng Shui here and not just regular paint plans -

I thought golden shades were Feng Shui shades for the center/hearth area for a space, and therefore 'neutral" - and not helpful in moving prosperity/abundance chi around or through?
