Hello everyone,
I'd like to hear about some of your humorous holidays memories. I've just listed some of mine at the Inspiration site. Inspiration

There are lots of adjustments as people learn to blend their traditions. You may have to learn to negotiate. It is important that you make your own traditions, and have something special for your branch of the family tree. But you will also have to be flexible.
Hi Sandy!
Thanks for sharing those holiday memories. It is so true that people need to compromise around the holidays. Though it is a time of giving, so many people tend to be stuck in their ways.

I have several traditions that I love and am looking forward to. Every year we spend thanksgiving at my family's log cabin. It has been a tradition and a great time for everyone to get together and spend time at the cabin (which my family built!).

Thanks, Raleigh
When I was growing up, and all the time my children were young, we spent every Thanksgiving at my aunt and uncle's farm. When she died, we gradually stopped gathering there, but that has always been the real Thanksgiving for all of us. Somehow I think of Thanksgiving as the one holiday that we really associate with a particular place.

Hi Sandy,
I agree completely with you. Its funny because we always have a wonderful time at our cabin, but nothing compares to Thanksgvigin out there. It just so wonderful - the smell of turkey and a fire in the fireplace... I can't wait!
