Hello,
As new host of the Inspiration forum, I am looking forward to seeing lots of new posts. Please introduce yourself and tell me--what inspires you?
This time of year, for me it is always new office supplies, pencils, and notebooks for organizing. In fact, I just finished an article about it at the Inspiration site.

Hi Sandy,

This is Chris, the Crime and Fashion Jewelry editor. I also make and sell my own jewelry, and I seem to be the most inspired by other designers who are achieving success both creatively and financially. After visiting a show, gallery or shop featuring lots of other artisans, for example, I always feel especially inspired and motivated, and ready to go home and work on new designs. It's not that I want to "use" anyone's particular design, it's just something about seeing their work out on display, and knowing how much went into it, and seeing how wonderful the results are. I get the same feeling just learning about success stories of other people who do work similar to mine.

Hi Chris,
I agree with you. Seeing some one else's work always leads me to think of ways to add to my own.
Success breeds more success.

My name is Cindy and I am new here. There are many things that inspire me. The first one in my faith in God to make me a better person. The next is my job. I am a hairdresser and I love the creativity it allows and the personal relationships I have with my clients.
People who have had tragedy in their lives and still manage to have a positive attitude and a great relationship with God inspire me. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Hi, I'm Hair Editor and Christian Living Editor.
In my work as a hairdresser, I'm most inspired by really good education. That includes seeing inspired work by other hairdressers.

I'm also inspired in quiet times when I have time to reflect and get rid of the clutter in my mind.

Hi Sandi,
I'm inspired by the colours of fall. The crisp air and the smell of hot chocolate after a brisk walk. Seeing a fall landscape makes me wish I could paint.

Hi! I'm Stephanie, a newish member as well. This is a great thread...such a good question. And I definitely agree with Moe about nature being inspirational. October is my favorite month because of the trees, colors, crisp air, and slight chill. All these things are inspiring <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
