Animal Spirit card for November/December

To our past ancestors, the animal held great spiritual power and symbolic meaning. In Native American culture, mythology and ancient civilizations, each animal is embodied with its own symbolic meaning and held its own unique spiritual power.
A particular animal crossing your path had deep significance to your life and indeed a strong message to impart. The presence of animal wisdom may appear to you in a dream, on the physical plane or intuitively.

The Butterfly

The butterfly is the symbol of metamorphosis and transformation.
The symbol of new life, letting go of old cycles and finding your true inner expression.
The butterfly calls you to expand your awareness, spread your wings and call forth your inner joy.
Let go of limitations, and free yourself to express your own beauty within.

It is the time of spiritual transitions. Symbolic of moving from one phase of life to the next reaching higher, reaching outward, leaving the safety of the cocoon and finding your own place among the flowers of life.
Allowing the wind to carry you forward to your goals and dreams.
A time of self-discovery rebirth. The butterfly shows you the beauty within.
Go forth with joy.

Affirmation

I recognize my true beauty within,
I value and cherish all that I am.
I have the power to transform my life.
To experience true joy.

Thank you for posting! I have a set of "Sacred Path" cards (for the discovery of self through Native Teachings,) and I haven't used them for a long time- Your post has inspired me to dust them off again.

Hi Debi!

I met up with a couple of neat ladies a few weeks ago, and one of them had the Sacred Path cards! I've not heard of them before that time. I drew the Medicine Wheel, and when I looked at the Medicine Wheel in their book, it really spoke to me. I knew intuitively that I was coming from the South and heading towards the West in this new season. I've been considering getting the Sacred Path cards, actually, as well as Medicine Cards.

Hi Janet-
I found the Sacred Path card set in a used book store a couple of years ago or so, and I like the "four directions spread." I've written down the results each time I used it, and I remember I thought it was interesting shortly before I got involved with Bella, that I had gotten the "painted face" and "storyteller" cards, which are connected to expressing ourselves, and sharing our abilities, providing inspiration and wisdom, encouraging freedom of thought, etc.

Wow, that's pretty neat, Debi. <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I've been using The Quest cards for the last 2 weeks, and they've yielded some really great insights for me.

Thanks for the additional tip, amethyst. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
