The manuscript was in the hands of a private collector in London, we got to know of it and informed the Polish culture ministry. It was thanks to minister wldemar dabrowski's initiative and the sponsors he found which were the PKO Bank and the largest oil company PKN ORLEN , that this precious item was bought for Poland the action involved a huge sum of money for the manuscript was bought for over 250 thousand pounds he said
Poland's culture minister Waldemar Dabrowski says he had no doubts that the manuscript must return to Poland:
It is a source of great satisfaction that we managed to buy this autograph manuscript. It has various remarks written on the margins in Chopin's hand. They are in Polish even though it was already ten years that the composer had been living in France he said.
