Hi YA'all,
Yup, I am still alive and Ok. Actually I make it a point to check you guy's out everyday.. But since I am an early morning person.. No one sees me.. As far as posting,, I am at a disadvantage.. I am in no way interested in Politics.. And as a Diplomat... Arrrgghh, Forget it.. But, the rest of you are very good at it..I do read most of them.. But prefer not to get involved.
As far as posting.. Just about everything that I would be interested in.. Has already been said.. And told much better than I could have.. JAGA's web site covers everything..She is to be commended for a good job..How can one top Bob,s story about Easter in Hamtramck.. Then there was Babcia,s story.. That really hit home. So there ya go.. How can anybody beat that..But still I have had a great time following Carl's research. He is GOOD..
The Forum has been very good to me.. Through the Forum I was able to place my parents since birth in Poland. I can assure you, that If anything catches my eye, I will respond..
JAGA,, about your young one speaking Polish.. For get it.. As long as you and John speak nothing but Polish around the house.. She will never forget it as long as she is exposed to it.. America will take care of itself..
A good example of this is Babcia and myself.. We have been exposed to the Polish language living with our parents.. That Was the only language spoken at home.
That is about it.. If anything comes up.. I will join in OK?

Hi Frank,

So happy to hear from you, I was afraid you might
be ill or something.

I'm feeling better and have decided to postpone
my gall bladder surgery. I have too many things
going on at this time and don't want to be laid up and miss all the fun.

How is eveything in Florida, do you live near the
ocean? Many years ago we visited your state, friends of ours used to live there, near Disney World. We had great times.

Frank,

I am glad you are here with us! It is not only me but everybody here in the forum who can shape what we are discussing here in the forum! In the past - in Delphi we probably discussed politics too much, I am alsoa political animal, but there are much more interesting things to talk about.

Please, start some discussions if you feel we lack - and we all would really love to participate

JAGA,
Please do not take any offense to my remarks about Politics..Like I said, those of you that participate are doing a great job.. I find no fault in that. Actually you have more to talk about.. You are into things that have not yet

happened.. So you have more to talk about.

Now you take the Barbara Girls and myself.. We can only talk about the past Our Grandparents left us with wonderful memories..We appreciate the sacrifices that they made..But I am afraid that this is all coming to an end.. Our children have just about lost the ability to speak Polish.. They still appreciate the yummy food.. But the meanings are about gone..After all Tom Brokaw refers to us as the GREATEST GENERATION.

YOU KNOW WHAT???? He Was RIGHT
