this is how FoxNews commented on a fact that Socialists won unexpectedly over the ruling party who supports the USA action in Iraq (90% of Spanish were against it).

ugh fox news, ive been watching it alot lately, well not recently cause the power went out but id rather disagree with the right than agree withe left.

either way
republicans thnk two wrongs do make a right

but democrats make three rights to make a left.

When Fox News does not want to talk about reality - they turn to the scandals and then - they present not the real news but the tabloids.

***republicans thnk two wrongs do make a right

but democrats make three rights to make a left.***

at least the second way should work and it is safer!

One always has the option to turn off FOX and watch ABC or read the NY Times. Depends on the way you lean.
I think one ought to watch/read from both tilts always keeping the BS filter on.

StPolak,

I agree.

Carl,

Spanish government did a bad job because they were trying to hide from the nation that there was not ETA responsible for the attack and people were upset about it. They were demonstarting in front of the government and it was afterwards that the government released info about capturing Egyptians and Indians.

Jaga, the Spanish Government, not the terrorists, lost and because they weren't objective. Their intelligence service blundered. Spain historically has commited blunders starting with England's defeat of the Spanish armada.
Franco won Spanish Civil War (1936) with the help of Moorish troops & German pilots because Spanish military was incompetent Then Franco established a socialist economy & taxed the Catholic Church heavily even though he previously promised that he wouldn't do that. Carl

Carl,

thank you for analysis. At least I am glad the mass-media concentrate not on internal affairs or Iraq but on something different - the European country of middle size ;-)
