Hi-I have had too many problems with hair color done professionally (now costing close to $500!) I started with a dark Red Violet (Like merlot wine) trying to get it back to my original color, which is medium neutral brown with lighter highlights has been impossible! I went to get highlights and the woman didn't use bleach on the red, she used light color. This made the hair have yellow and orange highlights. She covered it with a toner in dark brown. When it started to fade, I stupidly dyed it level 2 brown which came up black! I then went to the salon for a correction, they put highlights in and toned it to a brown, but they are still reddish/copper. I just want the red and copper tones to be more neutral brown, at least until this black fades a little. THey told me to come back in four weeks to put another Shades EQ on, but in the mean time, I would love to have a shampoo that could neutralize it a litte. DO you know of anything that I can do for in between "Shades" visits???
