Hello.
I had blonde, highlighted hair. My stylist dyed it red mixed with golden blonde. The red only deposited on the roots. So she then tried a red toner. That left a little more color, but still none on the last 5 plus inches of my hair.

What can I do? The color shampoo is also not working on the ends. Should she color the ends again with foils? I am worried that if we color again I will get the same result.

katrinae she needs to add a gold filler,then the red.because your hair will be so porous at this point though it will be hard to maintain the red.you may want to rethink your color,or cut your hair.
