No one answered my last post, so I decided to try again. I am starting college next month. I would like a more mature haircut to make me look like I am in college. I am very petite and I look like I am about 12 years old when I am actually 18. My hair right now is past my shoulders and is full of layers. Any ideas of cute haircuts that are easy to maintain (I am not going to have a lot of time to style my hair when school begins)?
Thanks a lot!

As a start;
Petite women with young faces often look more stylishly adult with shorter hair. Perhaps a chin-length bob or layered flippy bob.

Think about these:
inverted bob
and flip (in the middle)
and one more

A short layer cut would be cute with highlights. you didn't say what color it is though. Highlights will give it body.

I think I will get my haircut into short layers and have my hair dyed to cover up my blonde highlights. Then to add body, do you think I should maybe get some highlights other than blonde so they are more temporary? I love my blonde highlights but I don't have time to keep them up with school. If I got red highlights, would they evetually wash out, or would they have to grow out like my blonde highlights? Thanks so much for all of the advice. I am pretty much clueless about hair! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
