I currently have blonde highlights in my hair. I would like to go back to my original color without having to let my highlights grow out. I am worried about just dying my hair because I don't know how the dye will react with the blonde. Any advice?

Sorry I missed this post !

Covering highlights is safest with a semi-permanent color such as Shades EQ. (professional) It isn't likely to turn an odd shade on the bleached hair.
Often regular tint will work depending how light and how porous the highlights are.

Sorry i didn't read your first one that you do have highlights. If your hair is brown it will cover them but i would go to a stylist. I used to do alot of highlighting with a cap & 1 good thing about that is that it doesn't get to the roots so when it grows out it looks natural

My hair is medium brown. My hair was foiled, and I have quite a lot of blonde. It has grown out about 2 inches and it doesn't look natural at all. Are there certain colors that would cover better over my blonde? Thanks for all of the advice. I really appreciate it!
