I had a spiral perm in my hair not too long ago and after awhile I hated it. My hair was always tangled and it was just too much work. I didn't want to cut my hair since it's really long so I had my perm taken out. You need to have a professional stylist do this, one that you trust. What they do is they put a perm back on your hair and instead of putting your hair in rods they brush it straight with a wide tooth comb. I recommend having them do a protein type treatment on your hair to keep it from getting too damaged. And after you do this you need to refrain from putting too much heat (hairdryers, etc.) because it can damage your hair more then normal, just don't do it every day. Otherwise you can try a relaxer or straightening serums and irons. But you can't get your hair chemically straightened, it will be too damaging. Hope this helps.
