I want cornrows done. I've always admired cornrows and especially Bo Derek's cornrows (since i'm not a woman of color; i always thought as a kid cornrows were for people of color). So since i'm growing my hair out and not getting it cut anytime soon i thought it'd be a cool change.

The only problem is i know next to nothing about cornrows and haven't had any luck on the web. I don't even know where to go ??

Any help would be much appreciated. TIA!

Cornrows are often done on caucasion hair but it is not always easy to find someone willing and adept at doing them.
This young lady had her's done on the beach in Mexico. The people who do them there are very fast and do alot of them.
If someone doesn't do them alot, they can be tedious and cause finger cramps! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

hey, i just want to tell you corn rows ar not just for colored women. they look great and are very confortable to weare. i have found that alot of non colored girls prefer to have corn rows go half way back on their head and stop or when you get to the half way point stop and continue w/ a reguler brade and maybe put a bead or two on the end. depending on if you go to the hair dressers or know some one who can do them they can stay in for one to two weeks. depending on how well you take care of them. to wash corn rows just put some shampoo on your fingures and build them into a lather and work them into your brades then rince realy well. i will warn you though to get corn rown it is little painful but you will be very happy in the end. if you have any more questions im going to a trade school for cosmetology so you can e-mail me @ rainbowbaby16@yahoo.com if you have any other questions and i will try to get an answer for you. (anyone is welcome to e-mail me!) (sry i posted your Question by mistake ignore that)
