Hi,

My whole life i have had bangs until 2 yrs ago my daughter and i grew them out at the same time. it was the first time i had done it all the way and i am soooo proud of myself!! (it was a real pain) My hair is a little longer than shoulder length and the bangs are chin length now. I get bored way too easily and often my hair pays the price for this. i have been several styles and colors over the year. so now of course i am bored with this, but i am so scared if i take the leap and cut my bangs i will really really regret it. Anyone ever had this dilemma???

Everyone has this dilema from time to time.
The good thing is that hair grows! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
To get over the boredom, try different things with the "used to be" bangs.
Braid them to the side, put a blonde streak in them (or other color, depending upon what color your hair is)
If it gets too tempting, angle them slightly so that they curve toward your face without being short.
If you can't stand it anymore and have to cut them, take solace in the fact that bangs are in style again!

I'm growing out bangs for the first time in my life, at the age of 35. Thank goodness I wear glasses, as they are right in my eyes right now.

My younger sister grew out her bangs at the age of 5 and didn't cut them again until just a few years ago. In high school, she did all sorts of style variations to them, twisting or clipping them in different ways to vary them.

Then there was the year she decided to leave all her hair long, but chose to move the part in her hair from the center to the side. It took months for her long bangs to get the idea and that kept her busy for a while.
