Hi Everyone,
I am new here and I was extremley excited to find this site. My son has been diagnosed with Mild Autisim and mild cerebal palsy. My son will go to the toilet to urinate but not for soiling, he is 5 1/2 at the moment and due to start school next year, we have tried the reward system, visual aids, stern approach, you name it we have tried it I am desperatley need some help. He can tell me when he has done it but not when he needs to do it, and he never seems to soil at any particular time on any given day? Help I live in Australia. He has problems understanding basic instructions but he excells through puzzles and computer (above his age group for this) Any idea or suggestions or any information on austisim or cerebal palsy would be good as I have no idea you can contact me on [email]ozelegance@yahoo.com.au<br[/email] />

Crazy101, thanks for writing! Sorry it's taken me a few days to get back...it's been crazy around here. I hate to put you off, but I'd really like to consult my son's past disabilities teacher. She's great at helping kids in her class with problems just like that as well as accademic. She always has great ideas.
