We are looking for an affordable way to obtain promotional items without the minimum number that sends most orders out of our budget.

We found Cafepress but would like some opinions of their products. One question I have is do they imprint their own name or logo somewhere on the items?

To the best of my knowledge, they do not put their imprint on your items.

However, their pricing structure prevents you from achieving anything resembling a decent markup compared to standard wholesale to retail pricing structures.

So far, I have not found anyone who doesn't already have a huge brand name or customer base who is making any decent sales from using their business.

I am not concerned about mark up as we looking at items that we can buy a small number of to give away.

We are looking at bumper stickers as one item. I would like to give them out to those who want to display them and I anticipate that being 12 of them. Local companies have mininmums in the hundreds for printing and the bottom line cost is out of budget while I can achieve what I want for $35 with Cafepress.

I was also looking at the polo shirts as well. I'd love a few with our logo for the staff. The cheapest I can get this done locally is actually more per shirt than Cafepress is charging. This other place wants a minimum of 12 shirts ordered while I only need 4 done.

While I am on this topic, do you know of any places that print promotional items (such as pencils) at decent prices besides CafePress?

I've been very happy with the items I've ordered from CafePress. They don't put their logo anywhere on the items. As long as the image you upload is good quality your products should be great! I've bought the frisbee, a t-shirt, mouse pad, mug, and canvas bag & have been VERY happy with the quality of all of them.

My daughter's school used Cafe Press to order class shirts. They were able to get the photo transfer on the shirt for a fraction of what local t-shirt people wanted.
