I have made several English paper pieced quilts one of which is still a work in progress (a complex long diamond pattern in the Carpenter's Wheel style), but the best one I have completed is the one I exhibited as part of the London Quilter's exhibition in the Great British Quilt Show I think about 1998 or 99. It's getting remarkably dirty with use, need to take it to the laundrette:) my washing machine isn't big enough and it takes a week to dry.
You can see it on this page -
http://www.craftsnlace.net/homework/psp5/week2.html - I apologise in advance for all the graphics, this page was part of a graphics course I was doing a year ago and it's quite a hefty download for people on dialup. The quilt is down near the bottom of the page. It contains 4,500 one inch hexagons (they are one inch on each side), and covers a high single bed pillows and all right to the floor - and it's hand quilted too, took eight years to make. Quite a magnum opus but worth it.
