Hi
I'm new to this board. Always looking for quilters to talk to. I love fabrics, swaps, and talking about cats. I am a fairly new quilter and still have dumb questions. Like what is WOW???

WOW is white on white fabric. COW is cream on white, etc.

I love swapping, too, although I'm winding down for the year. I'm down to one mini-nine patch swap and one snowman swap. I picked a pattern for the snowman today but my printer is on the fritz so I can't get started yet. It's going to be a stained glass block.

Oh, welcome to the Bella forum!

Hi
Thanks for the info some of the terms are confusing eek I was not sure if it was white on white or wild on white or wild on wild or WOW why would anyone put those two together!!LOL
My sis and I are doing a postage stamp quilt the pieces are 1" finished we are doing them in 9 patches so they are 3" squares is this the same as what you are swapping? I like it because I can take the patches with me every where. I keep them safty pinned and in plastic baggies with a tiny sewing kit it fits in my purse and I am never bored. I am in a fence rail swap that is a lot of fun. And am making (gathering and cuting at this stage) 3 other quilts. LOL And I wonder why it takes so long to finish one!!

Yes, my nine patches sound like the same as yours. It's a good idea to put them together in nine patches like that. I have a postage stamp quilt that my mil made when she was a teenager and I've always wanted to make one, too. I have plenty of little scraps I could use up. Hmmm... unfortunately, like you, I already have a zillion irons in the fire. It's a quilter thing, I think. Just think if you counted all of the projects you'll do "someday"! eek
