I am suffering severe quilting withdrawal...it seems like it has been forever since I have been able to work on a quilting project.

Hopefully soon though!!

I haven't been sewing much this summer either. I finished my Lord of the Rings blocks and sent them off. I was hosting the swap but someone else will be swapping the physical blocks. She wanted experience and I didn't have a permanent address at the time we started it. I've been trying to keep up with my guild's block of the month. One block a month and it's been a chore! I've been so involved with redecorating our new house and having so much fun with it that I can't even believe it. Yesterday I decided I wanted a picket fence in the bedroom, so I made one! Today I'm going to put some vines and flowers on it and I'll take pictures. But I'll get back into sewing one of these days. Todd would have a fit over my stash if I didn't!

Hello, I am new to the boards. I love quilting although I am working on my first quilt. Can't get enough. I am on a Sunbonnet Sue group and we just started a Snowman swap. I have 28 squares to do before Nov. 1st. I've got my background material and the white for the snowman. Just using scraps for the hats and scarfs.

MizJellyBelly,

You'll need to post one of the blocks when you're finished. It sounds like a cute swap. What will you make with the blocks when all the blocks are swapped, etc.

BBallquilter,
My daughter will get a queen size quilt made with all the snowman. If my pattern is correct there will be 3 squares left and I will make pillows with those. I can't wait.

Are all the snowmen blocks going to be different or the same pattern? It sounds very cute for a quilt. Good luck and have fun!

Everyone is using their own pattern for the snowman swap. I have several completed if you would like to have a look.
