I just wanted to drop a line to say Hello. My name is Jean and I have only been quilting for a little while. Well, if you go on length of time about ten years, but if you go on number of quilts about 6, most of which in the last year. I made a baby quilt for my girlfriend 10 years ago and then nothing until last year.
I used to be a woodcarver but when lupus hit and I was unable to cut wood I changed to fabric. It is almost as much fun. After making a couple of quilts from patterns, I now find I am designing my own quilts, which is much more fun. I am learning new things all the time. I just joined a quilt guild here in CA, the DOGWOOD Quilt guild and am interested in finding a few sources for some more training or gathering of information. Anyway, it has been fun seeing what all you have done and I am going to be letting you all know when I get my pictures up and running hopefully in the next week. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Sew lets sewing and I want to see some of those quilts listed in the topics, like the crayola quilt etc. :rolleyes:
