I abhor crops...due to teasing in high school (freshman year no less) because my average length pants were too short. So I refuse to wear them period...granted I will admit to occasionally folding the bottoms of my jeans up half way sometimes but with me its either shorts or long pants. Same for skirts/dresses. A tea length hem...it just doesn't look good...they hit right at the widest part of my calf, my legs are one of my best features, so I'm not about to hide them . give me an A-line or straight skirt with a thigh high slit any day =]

Sounds good to me and the thought made me smile, too! The teasing is horrible, that tall kids get from their "high waters" (as we called them in Texas)when the pants were not as long as the legs.

I'm most comfortable in shorts so I don't know what I'll do when the weather gets much colder. The thigh high slit does leave a cute image, tho! Might have to try that!

Babyquacker: I do appreciate your thoughtful and kind reply. I do know that as a newbie here You do not know me either. I am a long time poster in forums and have moderated around cyber space for years( Pleiades, anyone!?) You have made me feel so at home here that I was being my usual flippant and perhaps not as cute as I think I am self w/o thinking how it may appear to others(a BIG thing I do) I have the skin of a rhino and a heart of goldplate....I also cry at dog food commercials.
Like Popeye," I yam what I yam."
Thanks again.

Roni, thanks for your sweet reply. I'm glad that you feel comfortable here. I do, too. This IS a great place! BellaOnline is the only site I visit and I've only been around for about 6 months.

It's funny to imagine you with a rhino skin crying at dog food commercials. I'm like that with all the greeting card commercials.

Take care.

Hallmark Greeting commercials get me every time. Oh and do you remember that one. It's really old but it was the best commmercial I think it was a drinking or drug commercial. And the song playing was "he ain't heavy, he's my brother". Made me cry every time. So does Joan of Arcadia. Every week. DH gets a little wet too.

Moe, I love that song! Joan of Arcadia makes me weepy, too, but then again, Touched by an Angel always tugged at my heart strings!

I cry Every time I watch West Wing. I could..no wait, I DO, watch everyday and cry every time...there's a marathon right now and I finally got to see the final two shows that I missed last year. I think it starts next week. I have already seen the first two Joan's...
BTW: I am sure even rhinos need a good cry...

Hi, Moe! I've got a sickness . I LOVE to shop. Lane Bryant fits a lot of those needs, but prints and colors draw me. I guess I'm easy.

Hi Larieann,
Because I live in Canada Lane Brant hasn't been an option for me. I fell in love with them when I visited a friend in Louisiana. I found their regular prices expenses but really loved the fit of their pants. I have a low rise so whenever I buy pants they end up almost under by breasts. Anyway, now LB does the online shopping thing in Canada. I recently bought a few of their Cacrica (?sp) bras. I loved them and thought the price was excellent.

Hi, Moe! I'm glad you like the Cacique bras. They are Lane Bryant's hot seller. Their pants are excellent and their pants as well as most of their items are expensive, but worth it in the long run. The wear and last! Their shoes are not on the same level as their clothing.
