I have 1930 as the date, but your's could be right. Anyway, you have the correct answer. Nestle bought the chocolate chip cookie recipe and the rights to "Tollhouse Cookies".

OK, OK, Trivia FREAK here: Would that be White Mountain in New Hampshire?? (My husband was born and raised very nearby.)

You are VERY close. It IS in New Hampshire. The White Mountains is a mountain range in New Hampshire and this particular mountain is part of that range. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
