You know, I'd never even heard of smoothies before. The only thing even close is this drink that I had first at the Olive Garden and now my bf makes for me at home when I need a cool treat. It's a blend of ice cream and some milk and I think Bailey's and Kaluah and Amaretto, with chocolate syrup drizzled down the side of the glass. That's not quite a smoothie or healthy though

I think I'll have to try these smoothies sometime! I just need to start having fresh ingredients for them in the house. I think a banana one sounds like it would be good ...

I could be mean
I could angry
You know I could be just like you

I could be fake
I could be stupid
You know I could be just like you

you thought you were standing beside me
you were only in my way
you're wrong if you think that i'll be just like you
You thought you were there to guide me
you were only in my way
you're wrong if you think that i'll be just like you

I could be cold
I could be ruthless
You know I could be just like you
I could be weak
I could be sencless
you know I could be just like you

I'm alone, So I won't turn out like you want me to

Lisa -

My sister owned a smoothie stand. So, I learned a lot about smoothies. My favorite is banana.

Hey,
Have you guys ever heard of Yoplait Nouriche? It's the new pre-bottled yogurt smoothie with tons of vitamins. Yum!

[color:"blue"]2 bananas
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp honey
1 oz almonds

Combine ingredients in the blender and whip to a frenzy. Drink and smack your lips and say, "Ahh!" [/color]

Be well. Be happy.

You don't even need fresh ingredients. I get frozen berries and fruit (I usually get good cheap ones from Trader Joe's) and then just try out different combos.

I have a green tea smoothie recipe on my website under recipes which you can adapt to any of your favorite ingredients. The green tea is really beneficial for your health also.

I make a yogurt smoothie every morning:

Half a banana
handful of strawberries(frozen or not)
cup strawberry berry blend of juice
1/2 cup(more or less) yogurt(I use plain but you choose)
I use a blender and pour over ice.

add orange juice or other berries in season or frozen fruit smoothie blend or whatever your little heart desires...

I have made this with coffee and cream
my sis-in-law uses tofu but I take thyroid and it hinders absorption...the possibilities are endless...
