Do you have any plans for Valentine's Day? What do you want to do?

My husband has taken a vacation day for Valentine's Day, but since we don't have a babysitter, I'm sure we'll bring our son along whatever we choose to do. Probably go to my favorite mall an hour away, go out to eat, etc.

My husband took a vacation day last Friday, with the idea of us going to see LOTR Return of the King, but we got sick. It's hard to make plans in the winter, especially because of colds/sinus problems and/or unpredictable weather and temperatures!

I think couples should go all out for Valentines Day and keep it up for as long as they are married.(Til death do us part!)
Couples need to do everything they can to keep the romance alive. There is so much that takes the romance out of marriage in day to day living.

That said, I don't know what my husband and I will be doing on Valentines Day. I'll have to start planning now.

Hi Janet,

That's great he took off. I'm glad Israel is off al ready for the day because it's the weekend. He's planning a surprise and I get to wear my red dress.

Franki,

I agree! Couples need romance. Sure, love changes, but you can keep romance alive with a little effort.

rest...that would be a lovely thing.

actually speaking to each other about something other than business would be a great idea.

Now that I am thinking about...a gaming session for just he and I with wine to sip and some appropriate snaks might be just the thing.

Oh, good it's a Saturday.
Depending on the temperature, then.
If nice -- we'll go out.
If not -- we'll get some Godiva and stay in.

It's very unfortunate that both our birthdays, our anniversary and VDay fall during this season.

Why is it unfortunate, Ice?

How fun for you, Jessica! I love surprises!

Actually, my husband has Saturday off but he took Friday off so we'd have an extra long weekend.

Because it's always during really bad weather so we don't get to go out and *really* celebrate. Ooh! I have that Friday off too! Maybe I should organize a romantic getaway. lovers
