Thank you for your time. I have a quick question. My wife and I just planted some fruit trees in our backyard (apple, pear, peach, almond, citrus). We did some research and have heard you need two trees to pollinate. I am confused because when I was younger my family had 1 pear tree, 1 peach tree which produced lots of fruit every year. I can't find a true answer to this question. Can you please help me? Can I expect any fruit with only 1 pear, peach and apple tree? Thank you so much for your time.....

Sincerely,

Mark Long

Talk to your local cooperative extension agent. They should know which cultivars will grow in your area that are self-pollinating.
