I bought a stroller and two came. I told the seller and he asked me to send it back. He gave me a UPS account to pay for it with. I sent it using that account. Now I have gotten a bill from UPS for $90.00!!! Meanwhile, the stroller I kept has a broken tire tube and the seller does not return my emails.

Do you think I have been scammed and what should I do?

I think you have definitely been scammed. First of all, I would write down any specifics that you can remember - the guys name who you spoke with, etc. If its a big company, you should try to get in touch with someone at the corporate level.

Also, I know consumers who have problems like that can go to the Better Business Bureau. I had a problem with false advertising and a health club and my boyfriend said the BBB helps consumers with stuff like that. I dont know much about it, but worth looking into.

If you bought this online, go back to the web site and find contact info that is a phone number or an address. If this person sold this via a reseller site, something like eBay, contact them as they have fraud protection policies and such.

I would not only contact the Better Business Bureau, but your state's consumer affairs office.

I would also contact UPS to find out why the account that was sent to you by the seller didn't work and why you were billed.
