Hi Scott, thanks for answering my question! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
The seller is not new and her feedback was enough that I really didn't want to buy from her (not bad just iffy), but my son wanted the backpack so badly.
I did email her back and let her know that if I had known I would have to wait several days for it to be shipped out I wouldn't have bought it. I explained my older children were starting school, which is why I was willing to pay the higher shipping ($6.75 over actual cost) so he could have this backpack.
She responded that she would try to ship it earlier but the backpack arrived after being shipped on that Friday afternoon.
The backpack was also not in as good condition as she described it in the auction. My son was a little disappointed but we've always tried to be thankful for what little we do have and that's the attitude he took with this.
In all my eBay years I've only left negative feedback once and that was when the item was just flat out not what was described and the seller refused to refund my money and ignored me all together. I have reservations about leaving negative feedback but I'm pretty disappointed with how this all worked out.
As a seller, I just can't imagine ever treating anyone who bought something from me like this.
What would you recommend?
