Yes, I still can't believe that people fall for those!! I get like 10 a day and I always read them aloud to my boyfriend. "Oh look!" I'll say. "I got a message from Orogoth Manovev of the Nigerian Bank!" And he'll go, "Is this a Confidential Message?" And I'll say, "Oh Yes, apparently they've been looking for me for a while!" It's just tooooooo funny

I get several of those emails on a daily basis. I'm so tired of that [censored]! I'm definitely going to setup a rule for those emails now.

I wonder if it would be a good idea to have a section here showing all the different versions we get? I had a real sob story one a few weeks back and I'm only sorry now I didn't keep it for you to laugh at! I agree I really can't believe that people are still falling for it - but that report said that there are several Americans waiting in London hotels every day to meet people who've e-mailed them.

Hi All!

A friend loves getting these '419 scams' and always acts on them, leading the scammer on long wild goose chases.

He pointed me to a site where the potential victims *really* turn the tables, sometimes resulting in the scammer taking intercontinental flights to finalize the non-existant deal.

Reading some of the stories had me laughing so hard, I came very close to having an accident IYKWIM!

They've never been anything BUT active on eBay. This girl had a little fun with them tho.
