What you need to do is get a pen. Like a kids play pen. The dog will not "go" in the pen. Leave her in there for 1-2 hours at a time (put water, food and toys inside with her), then take her outside. After she does her business, bring her back inside for a very supervised play. If you can't play then, just put her back in the pen. If she cries when left alone, you can put her on a leash and connect the leash to somewhere where you'll be. She won't "go" in that area. After a while, she'll realize where she's supposed to do her business. She will learn! I have a maltese-poodle-mix who was having trouble, but this really helped. Good luck!

When you have fed your dog put her out in the garden.Usualy they have to 'go' not long after they've eaten.Stay out with her and as soon as she's done her business praise her alot. After a while she should get the idea.
