The dachsund is one of my favorites. Maybe it's the 'big dog' attitude packed into that little body. They are so clever and mischievious. It's the funniest thing to watch them corner when they are running full speed.

I'd have to say my dogs are my favorites, but they are mutts. Sheba is a boxer/pittbull/lab mix and Maximus is a huge lab/hound mix.

My favorite would be the Boxer and Airedale Terrior

Although I love nearly every breed of dog, my absolute favourite is the Golden Retriever, closely followed by the Alaskan Malamute, Border Collie, and Bichon Frise. I'm more of a 'big dog' person, but I love those little bichons. My two dogs are a mix of some of my favourites (border collie/husky, alaskan malamute/husky), and I also love the mutts. I plan on having all of these breeds and more when I live on my own.

I have a lurcher (whippet or greyhound cross) who I love dearly but has some 'issues' with other dogs, ie terrified and shows it as aggression until he knows them well. We also have two black and tan crosses which look like german shepherd/rottie/doberman/lab/?? mix and 6 pups which are the offspring of one of the mixes (looks more like a shepherd) and a high pedigree Flat Coat Retriever. I'm getting to keep the [censored] from that litter who is 7 weeks old tomorrow!

Have to say I prefer mutts but would go for a Greyhound or lurcher rescue in the future as they are such loving dogs and great bed warmers!!

Labrador retriever every time! We may have only just lost our last one, but we'll be taking another lab in asap.

We have a cairn terrier but I love most breeds. Each one has such special qualities. The Golden retriever and the yellow labs are two of my favorites.

Wow -- what a pup-fest! Like so many, I love them ALL --
especially the big ones, but when I get to know one of the
little ones personally, I always fall in love -- pugs,
mini schnauzers, Boston terrier.

My sister just passed away quite suddenly at age 42 - she
was an ardent animal lover and support of the Humane Society
and ASPCA. So my husband brought home a 4-year old Newfoundland ("Newfie") to cheer me up! She is BIG and
BEAUTIFUL and one of the sweetest, most empathetic dogs
I've ever known. Her name is Coco -- and she is getting along very well with Junebug, our black Lab, and Harry Houdini, our Great Pyrenees/Husky mix. All three are from
Humane Society or Stray Rescue.

Can't say enough about the amazing folks who keep the shelters and rescue orgs going for animals whose people
didn't deserve them in the first place. BLESS YOU SPECIAL
PEOPLE!!!!

We have one English Bulldog now. This is a picture of Musa, our dog that passed away a few years ago. We have his brother, Boss. He is a solid white English Bulldog. I love the ugly bulldog face.
