you need to go around and get your overdrives filled up first. Lightening damages him for good points. use overdrives as soon as possible. If you know quick hit, then use it all the time. other than that, just keep healing yourself. Main point: get a high magic stat and bolt away. Also, equip armor with hp+. good luck

At taht time Tidus usually has a lightning strike weapon. Equip him with that and you'll do double damage with every strike

If this isn't enough then you need to increase Tidus and Wakka's stats

If they see something about FFX, but they know nothing about it, then they won't be able to help you.
