OK, i have got all the rewards from destruction spheres from all the temples except besaid ( lame i know ) but when i return to besaid will i have to fight the dark aeon? I have the UK version of thegame

then beat Dark Valefor up? It's not hard. All you need to do is get Wakka's Celestial weapon and boost his strength up to 255 (probably not even that much for Valefor) and get one good Attack Reels on it and hes done.

All you need is someone with first strike when you start the battle then switch out for Wakka.

Alternatively, you can just start again

can someone tell me how ik can get first strike?

Obtain Auron's Celestial Weapon. It naturally has First Strike when powered up
For the other weapons you need 1 Return Sphere. You get them from beating Chimerigeist in the Battle Arena, its easy to beat since it's the first monster you're forced to unlock


Heres some other useful things you will want for custom weapons:

99 Dark Matter: Ribbon, immune to all status effects cureable by Esuna, excluding breaks
dropped rarely by every boss in teh battle arena, or get 2 from overkilling Dark Yojimbo (you get to fight him as many times so it a great source, and is easy to beat)

10 Door to Tomorrow: Overdrive -> AP, converts your overdrive gained in a battle to a percentage and adds that to your base value of AP
Droped by bomb king in battle arena, or bribe mech scouters and leaders

80 Light Curtains: Auto Protect, constant protect magic.
Dropped by Fafnir in the Battle Arena, get 40 for an overkill

20 Mega Pheonix: Auto-Pheonix, instantly uses Pheonix down (or mega pheonix if no pheonix downs are in your inventory) on a KO'd party member.

30 Wings to Discovery: Break HP Limit, exceed the 9999 cap
50 Wings to Discovery: Triple AP, triples the AP earnt in battle.
30 for three chests at Chocobo Racting
Or beat Shinryu in the battle arena
OR Obtain as part of a weapon when you beat the eyeball feind boss in the BAttle Arena

30 Winning Formula: Triple Overdrive, triples the amount your overdrive goes up
99 for catching all applicable monsters in all areas of Spira
Defeat Ultima Buster
