in the BS mission "JUST BUSINESS" I keep blowing up or getting caught in an explosion shortly after the truck jumps into the drainage ditch area????

only thing I can think of is that you are taking too much damage during the chase. If you look to the right side of the screen you should see a damage bar, when that bar reaches zero you blow up. I suggest you keep trying.

That's a well fun mission, when you are on the back of the bike just remember to ONLY shoot at people. If a car is behind you shoot at the passenger and the driver and not the car. Same for motorbikes, shoot the pillion and the rider.

When you see that truck (as it says in the walkthrough on this site) DON'T shoot at it, there's no point.
