BellaOnline Forums Computers Computer - Console Gaming Help FFX2 Via Infinito

I am at the 100th level of the Via Infinito and I cannot defeat Trema. Evrytime I do massive damage on him he unleases his Genesis attack which instantly kills my party. This is my second time through the game because I'm trying to get 100% completion. Is there anyway to avoid his Genesis attack?

i hav'nt got there yet, but i would imagine a series of mp draining effects could help, possibly a reflect spell? Silence? i dont know what type of ability genesis is, so i dont quite know, but im sure draining him of all mp would be detramental to anything besides his base attack.

*shudder* I am not looking forward to that fight...I am only on level 60...cant get past that!

reflect doesn't help, just cast spells and items to drain his mp. after 7 or 8, he will be out and then it is just physical
