I beat the Devourer, but I don't have the brain. Been to the pool a kajillion, checked every page, but nothing. Walk freely in Lair of the Devourer. The Lair seems to be the fourth floor; if not, I only have three floors in Prison, unless you have something to tell me. Performed inch by inch Prison search. Enriching, but no good. The auto-journal shows this is the last quest of the chapter. I would really prefer to enjoy the completion than use a cheat to move to another chapter just escape replaying the game.
If nothing else, is there a cheat that means "I have the brain"?
Also, I'm Mac. Is there a Mac glitch?

When I killed the Devourer, the remains on the ground had the Devourer's Brain. Don't know what else to say...

But I'm also stuck in ch.1. At the Blacklake Zoo, I have led the animals to the tree out back, activated the portal, and ushered them thru. I walked out of the zoo, and my journal says the animals "have been freed, once through the portal they will be safe under Nyatar's care."

?!? They've already gone through the portal, yet Nyatar still talks to me like I haven't finished the quest. Is there something I missed?

I replayed the whole chapter, prison first and made sure to pick up the remains right away. I did have a silver ring that I had found in the pool and could sell for 0gp. I wonder if that was it and Aribeth would have changed it for me.

Re: Nyatar, I do remember wanting to say after my first post-zoo conversation with him, "But they DID go through the portal!" but there wasn't really anything else to do. The second time through I must have adjusted, because it did not feel so jarring. both times he paid me and I persuaded him to give me a little something more, Ironwood. Do you have Ironwood? (Never found out what it was for.)

The zoo just seemed to move into the completed tasks colum later. Finish the district and it will probably be completed.

For the blacklake zoo you need to go back and nake sure the animals are gone. i had the same problem. the portal will disappear when all the animals are thru. then you can go talk to the druid <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
