Can someone please tell why I can't get to the next level.

In Grand Theft Auto Vice City for PS2 I have bought the print works, malibu, ice cream truck, film studios, the boat yard, taxi cabs and have the vercetti estate and completed them all and there is nothing left to do but I can't get to the next level.

Do I need a certain amount of money?

You need to complete a few more things.

But there are several ways to get to the other island without actually having to complete more missions.

I know it's cheating but it is worth a look afterall.

aurbo, my son says that you need to buy the car dealership and complete those missions, which is going to take awhile. If you have the money then, you probably should buy the Haiman condo (which is near the "love fist" missions) and some other safe houses. If you haven't completed those missions, then you need to. Sometimes it is hard finding the next mission. I did not do any of the sunshine autos missions or the ice cream mission but managed to get the final two missions.

For the pole position club after you bought it did you got in the back and spend atleast $600 dollars on the stripper? After you do this you start generating money. At the boat yard did you go in the boat and do the check point charlie after you bought the boatyard? After you do this the boatyard start earning you money

Sometimes the missions at the vercetti estate are on the stairs, in the mansion to the right, and outside the mansion to the left on the stairs.

I managed to get the final two missions after I had completed all the malibu missions. I don't think you need a certain amount of money. Have you done any of the cuban missions? Also, do you own all the safe houses? eg scumhole shack, links apartments etc.

I should add that you know you have access to the final two missions cap the collector and keep your friends close because you get a call on your phone saying come over to the print works, there has been trouble. When you get there you see the old guy has been beaten up. After you complete the cap the collectors mission you then get a message from lance vance saying to head over. Go to the vercetti estate and the pink ciurcle is at the top of the stairs in the vercetti mansion.

i need serious help i have done 99% on to saved games of gtavc i cant get the last percent. i have done everything u guys have talked about but still cant get it ne help out there please?????

Alright, the only reason I'm telling you this is because i was in the same situation, and after 2 days, I couldn't figure out myself.
I got this from a tip of a friend of mine who did get 100% because he did one thing:

Find and complete EVERY jump in the game with the SAME car, without SAVING in between jumps (i.e. NO getting out of the car once you start to process!)

That was the only thing he did that I didn't do. Once i did it, my percentage changed from 99% to 100%, and you'll see a great hidden message on your stats! <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

NOTE!!!: there are THREE HIDDEN JUMPS (i.e. they don't necessarily appear as the usual ramp)
easy to figure out though after you've been playing the game for any amount of time.

The BEST GTAVC walkthrough I found was written by [email]rarusk@netzero.com!![/email] I don't remember ecactly where I found it, but it is a complete, comprehensive walkthrough!! Ever tried going to the west island by pushing a bus into the water?? This guy must have played this game for MONTHS!!! I hope this helps you!!
