ok manhunt, is there any way of seeing/playing as scarecrow?

to get 100% i need to do the thunderplains mission the one where ya recalobrate the towers, is there an easy way of doing this? every bloomin time i try the final few im too slow at the button, (this is the one where you have to press 2 at a time i think)
