Hi I am just wondering why I am bothering to get the celestial weapons. I mean I have 4 of em right now and they suck cause their special ability is NO AP. I mean WTF ? How am I supposed to get any better with no AP?

Someone inlighten me please.

You have to upgrade them to their full potential.

In order to do that, you need to get each character's special item, the sigil, and the crest.

See this site's walkthrough, or any other walkthrough, for more info.

Don't say they suck, caus off them weapy's i can do little 99999 attacks:D

well, with a little maxing out my stats to but that's a whole other thing <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Now I am totally lost cause I've read some of upgrading my weapons but I don't know how that cause.
For instance take Auron I have the masuma (or some)and the mars crest and the mars sigil. What do I do now? When I equip the weapon he does a lousy 6000 damage. I don't know what I am doing wrong since his weapon can't be custimized.
I'm still stuck please help me!

first of all, you must go to Macalania Woods to fully upgrade the weapon. Go on the shiny path to the big orb, or whatever it is, at the 3-way intersection. *Note: You may have to find a boy's dad first before you can customize the weapons; he's in the campsite past the New Yevon guards near the Calm Lands entrance.*

Secondly, your characters won't do much damage even with the celestial weapons unless their strength is very high.

Here's some more detailed info:

First you get the Cloudy Mirror by the Calm Lands, usually after getting the airship. Now you take it back to the Macalania forest, in the lower part. There was a woman and boy there waiting for thier husband. The hubby was a room to the right and then up. Talk to him and he heads back to his family. Now of course the boy is missing.

Talk to the mom and dad SEVERAL TIMES, otherwise you'll have a lady blocking the shiny path. When they start to repeat themselves, you should be set. Head up the shiny path and you'll find the boy up in the middle.

Show the mirror there to turn it into a Celestial Mirror. Now you have to gather up the various ultimate weapon parts and bring them here to turn them into a true ultimate weapon. Each weapon consists of the base weapon plus two matching planetary pieces. A weapon won't work properly until you put all 3 pieces together.

Dude u rock. I had no clue where u needed to put the weapons together man. The celestial mirrors and stuff I have all left for me is a trip to Macalania woods.

Ps my strength is indeed not so high 75 <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> but I just wanted a perfect weapon.
