I just beat FFX....a few days ago and I wanted to get FFX-2 cause I loved FFX.

For those of you who have played FFX-2.....would you recommend it????

Which game didya think was better overall????

I'm kinda disappointed cause I know my favorite FFX character(Auron) won't be in FFX-2 really but I dunno....

What's your comments on the FFX-2?????

I'll give you my honest opinion. I'm a girl and I loved the game. However, I do think that the game is Girlie.

This is going to be more of Yuna's story. (Well, Paine too.)

There aren't as many fmv's as FFX had, that alone, means it will never live up to FFX.
With any hidden fmv's and endings there are only 10 fmv's total.

FFX was a little better with battle screen shots and only 3 playable characters can get annoying.

Another, thing, If you don't play with a completion guide, you can miss the entire plot-line, not to mention dress-spheres and some of the best scenes in the game.

This game likes to hint at things, and not give proof.

It's meant to be fun, not all serious like FFX or any of the other final fantasies.

I enjoyed it, but don't play it just to be looking for answers to questions ffx may have left you with.
You most likely won't find the answers.

I thought it was alrite in comparison to FF X...
haven't played the 100% though.. I guess the story is quite interesting if you do, else it's too short and doesn't go that deep.

The way Yuna and Rikku act is girly, it just is don't deny it !!
some of the sidequests are boring and they make you go like... Whaatt teh...is this.. at least thats what happened to me

the graphics are kewl and the battle system... I LOVE IT! really really really good

Yes, it is girly. That doesn't look like an FF game, looks more like a Charlie's Angels one. But I can say you girls could deserve a girly game in the series. But just one, ah? No more singing, dancing and giggles ever, please!

I agree with the rest of your post. Just one thing: I personally found Rikku's acting pretty hilarious. If any, it is the only thing that made my day playing it. I just wonder why the did not make any shoe's collection. That could make it girly 100%

Still waiting for FFXII??

If you ask me, Rikku's face looked a lot different in X-2 then it did in X. And i did like X-2, but i've stopped playing it, so it's not beat yet, Chapter 3 i think.

Yes, that's what I mean. They improved Rikku a lot compared to FFX (I mean, especially when fighting she was moving like a monkey). I can't say the same about Yuna, though. She looks often dumb in FFX-2. They modified the facial movement system, making it worse. I don't get it. Even the graphics has many flaws in FFX-2. It was better, but too many times I could see behind walls, missing poligons like when looking for secret button in Leblanc house and other places.

Just read my post on FFX vs. FFX-2 and you will see plenty of opinions. I respect Gerb's input but chubbychocobo covered the most info.

I have just started playing ffx2 and it is okay compared to ffx however i like the battle screen layout (ie the fight commands)in ffx a lot better you had more time to think about which way to go when fighting an enemy whereas in ffx2 if you try to take your time figuring out the best spell you can be killed before you execute your command

If you liked FFX I would recommend FFX2, but I must say that it isnt as good as FFX.

I would say buy it and see fore yourself...

If you want my opinion then I would say it's just as good, because you can't compare the 2 series with each other....ffx is the beginning so naturally it takes more time and things to be explained, as fore ffx-2 (what jesilee said) it's yuna's story this time so they had to come up with something new, and they did!!

I think they did a really good job, and what I really like about it more, are the battle's.

It really has more action in them if you ask me....sooo!? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FORE!!? do yourself a favour and get the DAMB thing!!
