Well, If you didn't take the time to get a few ultimate weapons and level up, hmm, I've heard that you can use Zombie Attack and then heal him for damage (while he's zombied).

There's a Zombie Attack that I think is blocked by a Lvl4 Key Sphere on Auron's Sphere Grid.

You don't at least have Yuna's?

Well, other than going and getting a few more weapons, I don't know If I can offer much more advice.

That was the only easiest strategy I know...I fought him w/out using zombie when my characters' stats are very high...and so the only advice I could offer to you is to level up a bit more

I've never fought Yu Yevon with low stats, so al I can say is hit him once and he's dead

doing zombie attack, then "life"-ing or "full-life"-ing him kills him automaticly, but is a bit...erm...unsatisfying

Just cast reflect on him, then when he cures himself, it will bounce off of him and cure you instead. Just work on him from there.

hehehe can't believe you're asking this question... cos yu yevon is the easiest monster to beat in ffx.... anyway, if you equipped your yuna with 1 mp cost and keep casting holy while the other keep using physical attack, the fuzzy ball will die in less than 5 mins

If memory serves me correctly, you're invincible for that fight. Just attack the Pagados until they die, than keep hitting Yu Yevon. He doesn't have much health.
