Well, I can't believe it. With 255 stats, and Luck just above 60, Auron (First Strike), Wakka (attack reels) and Lulu (well, the last one that got ribbon armour), plus auto-haste, auto-phoenix and autoprotect, summoning an Aeon for the Dark Aeons overdrive, a couple of auto-life "just in case" and I could easily beat Dark Anima (just quick hit) and Dark Magus Sisters (the 3 of them together!!). I found the hardest one is Dark Yojimbo (I beat him as well, not 5 times yet, though, I left him as last).

Unbelievable, I am almost done. It has been a long time since I met that Dark Valefor and Shiva pulverizing me when trying to go back to get my dear Destruction Spheres. Thanks God I "trained" Yojimbo to connect Zanmato with 260.000 gil (if you wonder how to do it, make him doing many Zanmatos in Remien Temple).

Guess what I miss (well, I know, you don't give a damn, but I tell you anyhow):

- Sun Sigil. No way I can do that race again. My record is 4.0 secs and that's it. I tried to make a custom Break Damage Limit for Tidus, and he does 10000-50000 physical damage. Probably I missed the Piercing.
- 2 Tonberries, O. Ruins.
- 3 Barbatos, Sin: City of Dying Dreams (but they seem easier to find then the previous one).
- 3 Ogre?? Calm Lands.

I mean, I can't find them anymore. I want Nemesis! I want Penance!!! I want my price from the Arena manager!!!!!

is it just me or other people had so many difficulties finding them?

I know, it will take just time, but I have nearly 200 hours gameplay, half of it spent levelling up, getting spheres, searching missing fiends and so on. If one has to work, s/he never sees the end of it.

tangles tips:
sun sigil-
i found that when u get like 5 or 6 balloons on the first stretch, before making the hairpin turn, the better the time. just make sure u get in front to collect them.

tonberry's-
i just spent all my time in the back of cavern of stolen fayth til i got ten. since then i've heard they like the smokey regions (not confirmed)

barbatos-
are pretty common in city of dying dreams.

ogres-
i found more of them in the western part of calm lands (not northwest)

hope these pointers help

uhm...in Remiem Temple? you mean the aeon battle w/ Belgemine?

Guess what I miss (well, I know, you don't give a damn, but I tell you anyhow):

one of the toughest challenge ever! just calm down calm down calm down and try the race again!

I tried to make a custom Break Damage Limit for Tidus, and he does 10000-50000 physical damage. Probably I missed the Piercing.

missed the piercing?

- 2 Tonberries, O. Ruins.

oh the Master tonberry? there are lots of them in that ruins...just keep on exploring

- 3 Barbatos, Sin: City of Dying Dreams (but they seem easier to find then the previous one).

lots of them in the city of dying dreams just stay there until you captured enough of them to bring to the arena owner

- 3 Ogre?? Calm Lands.

can be mostly found in the west part of the calm lands

I mean, I can't find them anymore. I want Nemesis! I want Penance!!! I want my price from the Arena manager!!!!!

the best thing to do is to calm down

is it just me or other people had so many difficulties finding them?

I didn't have a hard time finding them for my real problem is the Tonberry in the sunken cave

I know, it will take just time, but I have nearly 200 hours gameplay, half of it spent levelling up, getting spheres, searching missing fiends and so on. Sorry, Tonberry in the Sunken Cave. My fault. Why did I write Omega Ruins?

Anyhow, I found all the missing fiends! Ogres in the North west area indeed. And I may have a trick to find Tonberry in Sunken cave as well!!

- Go to the T cross at the very end of the cave, the one that leads to the save sphere in the right. Run in circle inthe bright green area. You may get that stupid pot with the blue fiend inside (any special prize from it??). Flee. Run in circle again... Tonberry appeared. Capture him and stay there. Keeping running in circle, flee the bloody pot, kill if you like any other monster and eventualy the green beast will appear again. It took me 5 rounds for 2 Tonberries (10 minutes?). Maybe finally I have been lucky, but that was about time (camon, I spent 2 hours for 1 Tonberry the previous time. Plus all the times I went there without any luck).

Then about Zanmato. Yes, have a lot of fights against Belgemine Aeons using Yojimbo. You "train" Yojimbo doing Zanmato as hell. More Zanmatos or Wakizashi he makes, and higher gets the probability he does Zanmato. Have some fights as well with some regular fiends in Calm Lands. Never have him killed or you lose affection. If you see that with little money (1024 or 2048 gils) you always get Zanmatos, Yojimbo is ready. Overdrive it, and go to fight the Dark evil b***ards blocking your way to get Anima. Use char with first strike weapon (Auron with Manasume), switch to Yuna, summon Zanmato with overdrive. With 260K gil I got Zanmato at first time with both Dark Valefor and Dark Shiva. I even redid (resetting the PS2) Dark Valefor for a test and I got Zanmato again.

Well, now it is time for Penance (bye, bye Nemesis, it has been a pleasure). After one hour or so of killing arms I got Judgement Day...

Cool game, I just *love* it! I already feel like start it all over again. Damn. I have to look for a job now, not playing!!

YOU DID WHAT TO DARK SHIVA AND VALEFOR?! eek eek
OOOOO

what a waste of a fight!!!!!!
seriously.....all it takes is one attack reels to defeat them both.......
And Juggernaught is so easy to beat to get Strength +4 spheres as well...and that's all you need against those two aeons.

but if you want to spend your time getting zanmato ready and NOT overkilling the aeons then go ahead. its up to you but prefer to overkill everything so I get more items.

anyway,
not sure how you beated Dark Magus Sisters when they were together, unless you cheated...

Dark Yojimbo was the 5th easiest for me (after valefor, shiva, ixion, and ifrit), well I only say that since it is a quick battle...

have fun finding a job

oh ya, and the magic vase is just an annoying feind that gives you common items that you will never use, or if you do you will have 99 of them anyway since they are easy and cheap to buy (it gives stamina tablets, pheonix downs, ethers for hitting it in the correct eye)

- You must be joking! When I met the first time those ugly dark jokes, I felt scared to death. Also, attack reels and World Champion have been the last I've got (still missing sun sigil, but forget it. I am afyter penance anyway).

And Juggernaught is so easy to beat to get Strength +4 spheres as well...and that's all you need against those two aeons.

- oh, I see. But it was my second play (I overwrote, again <!> the previous save...) and did want to see Anima.

but if you want to spend your time getting zanmato ready and NOT overkilling the aeons then go ahead. its up to you but prefer to overkill everything so I get more items.

- Well, it did not take long to get easy Zanmato. Also my grid was just about half complited. But you know, the best option is to get the destruction spheres at the first try.

anyway,

- I swear to God, no cheating at _all_, never (unless I claim so). I even remember how. Auron, Wakka, Lulu. 255 stats and about 60 of luck. Autophoenix, autohaste, autoprotect and ribbon armours. All of the 3 sisters catched me, so I said: oh well, I will give a try. Isaved already anyway. They were ready for delta attack. I switch Auron (first attack) to Yuna. Summoned an Aeon. Aeon killed. Attack as crazy with Attack Reels, switch Yuna back to Auron (just for the Ribbon armour, if needed, and then I was getting an extra full overdrive), entrust Wakka all time. Oh yeah, comrade overdrive mode, obviously. After the first delta attack, they never got 3 full gauges together, and they just wasted it with a 99999 attack. Autophonenix just did the job to come back. never healing, no use. Mindy was gone fast (she is weaker as well, I think), then Sandy and then Cindy. Seriously, a piece of cake.

Dark Yojimbo was the 5th easiest for me (after valefor, shiva, ixion, and ifrit), well I only say that since it is a quick battle...

- Seriuosly? I found Dark Yojimbo the hardest. What about Penance? I'll write a new thread about it, because after trying myself I followed the guide and it doesn't work!!

have fun finding a job

- Thanks, after the summer at this point.

- yeah, that's what I saw. It is just a waste of time when looking for Tonberry.
