OK Yunalesca is a wh#re I tried to conserve my aeons throughout this battle because Yuna does not know HOLY yet (I know I screwed up). Anyway I made it to her third phase only losing 2 aeons and as soon as I got to this phase she unleashed this totally screwed up attack called mega death. Is this her first maneuver every third phase or was I just an unfortunate soul in that battle. If anyone knows any insider secrets for beating her please inform me. I am in the middle of college finals and I am going crazy the way it is. This game is my only sanity and it is killing me (yet for some reason I love it). You guys helped me a lot with Seymore Flux and I know you can help me here. Thanks in advance.

well one thing u could do is go back and lvl yuna a bit more for holy its at the end of her sphere grid

if ur useing aeons then have a yuna have deathproof(60 farplane winds) and have zombie proof whicth i forgot the combo there) so that yuna is living but to have the oother guys living have yunalesca cast zombie on ur two other guys other then yuna but if yunalesca cast regan have yuna cast dipel on that person to kill the affect then by the third round she goes of wif mega death and with zombie on u can't die

i also found that if yr person has zombie an then ynlsca casts regen, if you just use a healing water or something, the regen stays on and the char. gets healed, until he's zombied again.

P.S. DEFINATELY go back an get holy. I tried 'bout 4-5 times w/out it, and i got killed EVERY time. finally, idiot me went back an got holy, and kicked ynlsca's batootie (kinda...)

Joe's right, if your zombied, when she transforms into her third form and starts using mega-death the character will not get killed. Dispel the Regen.

hehe but when ur characters are zombied and u are bein healed everytime ur characters well get hurt everytime..let me make this sense(that made no sense <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> ) ok here goes....

...if u but a monster zombie and normally u cast cure say cure alwasy heals for 200 and when u cast cure it regans the hp but when the monster or u is zombied and u cast cure on that person it will take a way 200 hp thats what regan does

on her 1st form use reflect on evryone and cream her with NORMAL attacks (no ODs)

on her 2nd form try using ur ppls ODs and she shuld stil hav 10 000 hp left, soo grand summon bahamut and use his OD

on her 3rd form (since u already hav bahamut out) use his OD and then use ur other aeons OD. After this she suld hav 10000 hp left soo try using water gems or fire gems...

you'll eventually come thru!

i finally beat her. i started trying to go back and level yuna up a bit but I got bored so I decided to give Yunalesca another try. I got through her first two forms without using an aeon and used alot of water gems. I made sure that when she was low on hp in her second form that everyone was a zombie thus protecting me from mega death (thanks for the tip on that one) After that it was just a matter of blasting her with every aeon and 2 water gems before she dropped. Thanks again people for all your help I am off to get better aeons and fight sin
