Just went back few days ago playing FFX again trying to get Anima ~ but damn~ can kill that boss gaurding the temple (baaj) stone punch juz destroys my guy and tidus + rikki + wakka juz can't do enough damage~ you guys have any ideas how to get it?(strategys anybody?) plz tell me if you guys do ~ thanksZ

well u can easily equip urself with Stoneproof/ward armour (u shud have loads by now OR u can buy it OR make/customize it real easily) and that shud solve alot of probs. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

but u really shouldn't have many probs with taking HP from this guy, if ur not strong enough u REALLY need to level up some

if u really can't be bothered, use overdrives. wakka's attack reels are wicked (the best OD in the game) and Rikku' mixes are extremely useful if ur physical damage isn't too good. check a FAQ (like GameFAQs) for info on mixes and how to make them in battle.

remember all elements cause more damage to him than normal <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Elemental Gems are also helpful esp. the Fire Gems. You can also consider using those gems. You can steal those fire gems from Flame Flans in the Calm Lands.

Also, you may want to consider levelling up then go back to the Underwater temple and fight him again.

or just level up <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

you could use armour break

you know...since there is completely no diffrence in the characters what-so-ever except for their over drives.
