In the walkthrough it says to dismiss your aeon then bring him back with grandsummon to blast Seymore again. I noticed however that after an aeon blasts Seymore that Seymore uses banish on the aeon and the aeon cannot be recalled. Is there anyway to stop Seymore from using banish on the aeons? If anyone else has any tips for defeating SF please let me know.

After you've defeated Anima, Seymour will defeat your Aeon, but as long as you'll lose your Nul-Magic (Yuna) you shouldn't have too much trouble defeating him now.

against Anima, either use Shiva or mix a chaos grenade which shud deal 9999 damage against him, the mix is a grenade + HP or MP or strength or magic... sphere.

the last seymour can be an [censored] but I beat him without aeons or customized weapons or even using the sphere grid he's doable <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

just mix a rolling thunder or another chaos grenade and Tidus' strength shud come in handy here

The handiest way is to go in with whatever aeons you have but have all there overdrive gauges full.He will banish them nut at least you can hit him with each overdrive. Also if you have learned holy it does a great deal of damage aswell.

thanx for the assistance, I still have been unsuccessful with Seymore Flux. I am a little confused though because he hasn't released Anima in this battle (on top of Mt Gagazet) Oh when I get Seymore down to under 10000 hp he unleashes an attack called total annihalation. I have only survived it once only for Seymore to do full life immediately afterwards on my last remaining character. Is there anyway to protect yourself from this attack?

anyway, you can always try destroying that thing taht flaots around Seymour (i think there is one in this fight)
Because everytime you destroy it it drains 1000+ HP from Seymour.
Otherwise you could always get your aeons overdrives up to full BEFORE the battle (and Tidus's "Slice and dice" or "Blitz Ace" and Wakka's "Attack Reels") and release the overdrives one by one.

Having Zombie proof might help with Total Annihilation, that way his combo won't work.

Hey thanks for the Rikku mix of grenade + power sphere it didn't do 9999 on SF but it did do about 5000 damage on SF and the Morticoris (I think thats how you spell it) I was finally able to get to the trials at Gagazet. By the way I found that when fighting the behemoth you can really mess him up by letting Kimarhi use the overdrive Bad breath. Again thanks for your help everyone.

If you have learned it you could use zombie and when the healing thingy heals him it will damage him. But he will cure it eventually.
