BellaOnline Forums Computers Computer - Console Gaming Help 'Ultima' and the Omega Weapon

OK, so levelled up like a mad man before going into the omega ruins, i managed to kill off the ultima weapon and then went onto the long platforms with various beasties all the way to Omega. I died of course, and got most angry as there was no save point i could see.
I havent played it since, but im thinking, would it be ok to go all the way back up the platforms to the save point (miles away!), (i have no-encounters armour), without getting into battles there? or will it reset once i re-enter? hmm, may seem like a stupid question but i dont think my stress levels could take it lol
Oh yeah, and when the Omega Weapon does Ultima, how on earth am i supposed to survive that? you reckon im too weak or need aeons/armour to take the blast?
*whimpers* lol
Sorry if people have asked before, my computer has an intolerance to viewing more than 2 pages per day hehe

yeah theres no prob going bak to a save point. i did when i 1st attempted it with no encounters armour. the only time the no encounters armour doesn't work is when ur going along those platforms to Omega <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

well... as for defeating him.. er... he's rather easy <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> hehe! 2 (or maybe even 1) perfect attack reels from Wakka shud kill him if ur strong enough. and i don't mean getting ur stats up to 255 (or anywhere near) or going all the way round the sphere grid, i have never done anywhere near this and i found it a simple battle.

i have wakka, rikku and kimarhi in this battle. kim so he can learn his overdrive tech 'Nova' (only time to get this btw), Rikku can steal sum nice stuf <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> and wakka to launch reels.
get all overdrive guages full b4 battle. i start with rikku, auron and tidus (or 2 others that are ur strongest) so i can swop them out so i choose which character starts the battle. when the battle starts, swop tidus for Kim and get him to learn Nova. steal with rikku. transfer wakka into the battle and unleash attack reels. if this doesn't kill Omega, use 'Entrust' to transfer Kim's OD to wakka so he can do his reels again.. and BOOOM! dead <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

get sum speed enhancing armour and sumthing that protects against confuse. if he's still casting Ultima that u can't survive equip sum magic defense armour or sumthing <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

haha can't do than 2 pages per day eh?

Yeah well when I first beat Omega and Ultima I beat them easy (since my stats were above 200....)

I found out later that I could have beaten them earlier since Omega's stats are around 70

One hit to kill Ultima and 7 to kill Omega...I ddin't know Omega had ultima before. You can alway find Auto-Life white magic on the spehere baord and cast it before ultima is unleashed

Ahhh ok, lol, im such a geek! Okey dokey, i think that my stats are pretty much too low and seen as i HATE blitzball i dont have the attack reels for wakka, i'll just focus on levelling up loads or something...besides, thats way more fun at the mo lol. well, thanks for the help, heres to happy beastie killing! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

no no!! u HAVE to get attack reels!! it'll make every fight good, but not frustrting! its like THE best OD in the game! and Blitz isn't all that bad <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> and u don't need to do that much to get his OD's anyway <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Yeah Attack Reels is the most powerful attack in the whole enitre game.

Blitz ball is easy, just hire some new players if you don't like the original ones

Oh yeah, blitz ball is alot more easier if you have the players on manual control
