I just read on Square Enix U.S.A's website in the FFX gaming hints section under FAQ's that you get the destruction sphere item from Bevelle automatically so you don't have to worry about not being able to re-enter that temple. I have missed all the items and am going to re-visit the other temples for the items (except Bevelle of course) and see if it's correct and I'm able to obtain Anima. Does anyone know if this is right for the U.S. version of the game? Thanks for any assistance.

This is exactly what the Square Enix website says in the FFX FAQ section about the items.

If you find yourself unable to get back into most temples because you've been declared a traitor of Yevon, just board your airship and select the location called Highbridge. This will take you back to Bevelle to speak with Grand Maester Mika. Once this scene is finished, you will be able to re-enter any of the temples with the exception of Bevelle. The Destruction Sphere treasure at Bevelle is obtained automatically, so you don't have to worry about going back in there.

yeah taht's right

you only need the destruction spheres for all the temples that had Cloister of Trials (that includes the one in Zanarkand)

and then you can swim over to baaj temple and get Anima

....it's really impossible to miss that destruction sphere treasure because it blocks your path to the Antechamber

Well, I got an item in the Bevelle temple in a chest to the right, I just bumped into it. But then I continued to the right and it jumped to a cut scene. After the cut scene I could't go back into the temple and was afraid that I really messed up my game because I wasn't sure if I got what I was supposed to get. The last thing I want to do is start the game over over, it took foreve for me to get the 30 purifying salt so I could get the no encounter feature on a weapon. But, it's well worth it to be able to explore in peace.. I figured all games offer you some type of redemption for when you miss stuff. Since you get the Bevelle item automatically if for whatever reason you did miss it I was relieved that this was confirmed. Thanks for responding.

The item was there all right but most sites say you cannot get the destruction sphere and your out of luck. However good old Square - Enix(should i say old ) let us know that you aquire it automatically. Just goes to show that some sites are better than others.
