i just got the Supreme Light GG with Auto-Life, but when i go thro one of the colours, i can't seem to cast auto-life

is auto-life automatic or do u have to cast it? coz i can't find it in my attack menus!

and to have auto-life, do all party members have to have the GG equipped? ie. does it cast on all party members or only the one person?

*trying to kick Trema to a pulp n failing*

One Girl Must Pass through the Gate for Auto-Life, then she must cast it for 99 MP, It's in your White Magic (I think) It takes time to cast, so ... mmm, you've been warned?

Anywaz, Anyone who passes through the gate will be able to cast Auto-Life, And Thank Goodness, the garment grid stays lit even if you die in the battle.
(You will only have to pass through the gate once before you can cast it, Even If You Die.)

Good Luck!

Well, I Hated the Gunner Dress-Sphere and Refused to use it,
(I'm now seeing it was useful in some places, but anywaz.)

So I went in with 3 Mascots, With Auto-Shell & Auto-Protect learned.

Have the two girls focused on casting Auto-Life,
while the other one is equipped with Cat-Nip,
Of course she should be in yellow health, then I had her use any Gems that I had.
(Fire Gem, Water Gem, etc.)

Keep using X-potions on the other two, and Only Use them to heal, and cast Auto-Life.

The one with Cat-Nip is the only one that needs to attack.

------------------------------------------------

And the other thing I did, before I knew about Auto-Life was:

Have the girl equipped with Cat Nip use Fire Gems/Water Gems (whichever one of the four), It doesn't matter which one, as long is it will attack multiple times.

There are plenty of other attacks that can let you hit over and over, I prefer this method because items take less time to cast And I can still be in Mascot.

Use a Stamina Tonic to double the HP of the party. Then use an X-potions to heal the two that you don't want to be yellow.

You'll need to do everything you can to keep the girls at 9999 hp and the other girl alive and attacking with gems.

Also use your star curtains to cast reflect so that he can't hit you with flare.

When he attacks with Ultima it will do over 9000 damage even with auto-shell, but the good news is he's almost dead. Just keep hitting and he shouldn't get a chance to do it again.

Accessories: Ribbon, Ragnorak (for an Auto-Life user), Speed Bracers. And if any room left HP+ accessories.

And the obvious Cat Nip.

GG: If I didn't intend on using them for Auto-Life, I would say Valient Lustre. Probably the one using Cat Nip.

The othe two of course, Supreme Light for Auto-Life.

Yeah, Bevelle, is the only place that does not require the episode complete for the M.D.S.

(I've also read somewhere that Zanarkand cannot be last, but ya never know.)

Anwayz, GO GET IT!

By, of course, finishing up your episode completes.

Come Back, when you have Mascots.

If your just dying to kill him now, you could also try Bribing Paragon, 800,000 (Or more) and he'll give you DarkMatter, Mix it with anything, and you'll be invincible for a few turns. (3 I think, but I didn't like doing that, cause I had no way of knowing when it weared off)

Then another option, I sure as heck wasn't going to attempt it, but the Songstress Null Magic Dance, will allow you to survive Ultima, Of course the problems with this are her low defense, unpredictable change of turns, and not being able to tell exactly when he's going to cast Ultima. (When my sis was fighting the Black Element at low levels, we equipped the Smooth Shailing accessory to a songstress to make her dances last longer.)
