ok, in the part where u go to get anima, gaesgano attacks. and he's easy, right up until the part at the end where he hits all my people with an attack causing 9,999 damage to all my people. he does this after i hit him with the final blow. how the HECK am i supposed to beat him???? any help would be greatly appreciated <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

The bad guy does this I believe ONLY when you try to free your players from his belly. If you don't, I am almost positive that he doesnt cast this spell so to speak. Also, try making your people where special armor so that their magic defense is pretty high! Or wait until you can find armor that breaks your hp limit. If I remember correctly, I didnt have it, I just didnt try to free my person from his belly. I hope this helps!!!

If you have fire gems, used it. I find these items very useful during my battle with Geosgaeno

orrrr.. get a Break HP Limit armour so your HP can go over 9'999 <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> hehe!

u actually shouldn't have too many probs with him... try not to use the Trigger Commands to make him throw a character bak out, even though this hurts him a bit. see what happens at the end <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
he's immune to most status things, so don't bother with that but u can harm him with X1.5 the normal damage with all elements, so use nasty items if ur physical attacks aren't strong enough.
u may want to get ur overdrives up before the battle aswell, wakka's attack reels is amazing if u pull it off correctly! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

or you could jump out, scream at the TV utter something fowl at the PS2 and smash it of the nearest available hardened surface.

However effective as this is at killing the boss it does mean that you cant play on any further in the game.
